4. Cleaning Products

Most people in today's world use a variety of cleaning products to clean their homes. Household cleaning products, due to their chemical composition, can have adverse side effects for health and environment. People must be protected from them using suitable means, because the smell or the contact with skin could be dangerous and above all, maintain them away from children. There are sustainable and ecological alternatives but they are not always accessible or known to the consumer. That is why the European Union has created the 'ECOLABEL' which ensures that the product's life cycle has been correct in all its phases: design, manufacture and distribution. So it assures us that the product  has undergone a certification process that covers its entire life cycle. Eco-friendly cleaning products usually have a high price compared to conventional chemical products, which supposes that consumers refuse to buy them, although they have beneficial effects for health and environment. These products have their effectiveness verified through robust processes. There are other possibilities: smaller artisanal producers who offer good value for money,  the possibility of having rechargeable bottles and many other favorable actions are on our hands. We must also consider that some typical products as white vinegar, bicarbonate or lemon, can achieve disinfection at home, and also contribute to recycling, sustainability and environmental protection. Furthermore, the smaller artisanal producers offer good value for money.
